Game 1 between the Minnesota Timberwolves and Oklahoma City Thunder averaged 5.36 million viewers on ESPN.
It is the least-watched conference finals opener since Clippers-Suns in 2021. Excluding 2020 and 2021, it's the least-watched conference finals opener since Grizzlies-Spurs in 2013.
The number also represents a 24% decline from last year's Mavs-Wolves opener.
The ESPN2 "InsightCast" averaged 366,000 viewers.
