The Philadelphia 76ers remain confident in their ability to re-sign Quentin Grimes this offseason, according to Jake Fischer of The People's Insider.

A restricted free agent, Grimes averaged 22.7 points and 5.0 rebounds after the All-Star break.

The Sixers are also hoping to re-sign Guerschon Yabusele.

The team is looking to add a dynamic young talent to their core in the upcoming draft.

Grimes has earned himself a payday.

Tricky contract situation - given Sixers are top heavy in talent and his opportunity for touches will be limited (i.e. Maxey / PG13 / Embiid -- plus a future top 5 pick in draft )

If I were his agent would seek a contract elsewhere where he can continue to expand his game rather then get sporadic / inconsistent minutes.

Teams that come to mind that would be a great fit ( i.e. playing opportunity, good system / coaching staff, defensive oriented teams, that need 3pt shooting )

* Miami
* Houston
* Blazers

How much do you think he is worth? Everywhere he has been, he has been on a short leash. Like the Knicks, Pistons, or the Mavs, they did not see him as a valued player. Imo. he is great, but there is something weird going on, or maybe he is not as good as his stats or playstyle seem like.

It doesn’t matter what he’s ‘worth,’ it’s just what he can get. Could be tricky this year, not much cap space out there and teams that have it probably don’t want a Grimes type with their one big move. Wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up getting a little less than people are expecting.
