In an appearance on 107.5 The Fan in Indiana, Pacers coach Rick Carlisle confirmed that forward Jarace Walker would miss at least the first two games of the NBA Finals. Carlisle added that it's possible that Walker could miss even more time.

"He’s going to be out for a while," Carlisle said Monday morning. "I don’t know how long. He certainly will not play in the first two games of the Finals. He was still on crutches (on Sunday). I’m certain he’ll be listed as out for those two initial games."

Walker was injured during the Pacers Game 6 victory over the New York Knicks on Saturday. He rolled his right ankle and was ruled out shortly thereafter with a sprained ankle.

Walker has had an inconsistent role throughout the season for Indiana. He's been in and out of the rotation throughout the playoffs as well. While not a major blow, Walker being out will test the Pacers frontcourt depth.

Well if any of the Pacers forwards get hurt it could be an issue, because they don't have a lot of big depth.
