Ja Morant Parts Ways With Mike Miller's Lift Sports Management As Agent

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Fri Jun 13, 2025 3:10 am

Ja Morant has parted ways with Mike Miller's Lift Sports Management. Morant joined Lift in April 2024 and Miller had been a regular at Grizzlies' games this past season.

Morant was represented by Jim Tanner of Tandem Sports + Entertainment over his first five seasons in the NBA. Morant signed a five-year extension worth $197 million in July 2022 and he'll be eligible for a two-year extension this summer.

Morant could hire another agent or represent himself as Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Joel Embiid have in recent years.

Morant averaged 23.2 points, 4.1 rebounds and 7.3 assists in 30.4 minutes over 50 games this past season. Morant was most recently an All-Star in 2023.

Good. Now take that money and invest in a life coach to keep you from being an idiot and a health guru to keep you from getting injured.

Yeah... I don't think Ja realizes that he's not a lock for that next max deal. Assuming his contract has a trade kicker, maybe that's the reason why he fired his agent.
