Nicholas Kerr was promoted to an assistant coach with the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday.
Kerr, the son of Steve Kerr, has spent the last two seasons as the coach of the Santa Cruz Warriors in the G League.
Kerr's G League side appeared in the playoffs for both seasons.
Warriors head video coordinator Lainn Wilson was named as Kerr's replacement at Santa Cruz.
