The Phoenix Suns' attempts to trade Kevin Durant are not progressing as fast as the team hoped, according to Marc Stein of The Stein Line.

The Rockets and Spurs don't feel a need to include several assets for Durant due to having a younger core, while the Timberwolves' interest remains in flux.

Durant also reportedly has no interest in joining Minnesota. 

The Suns, who were looking to have completed a trade before the draft, could extend talks past June 25. 

The Heat, Spurs, and Rockets are Durant's preferred trade destinations.
