The Toronto Raptors are not willing to include Jakob Poeltl in any potential trade for Kevin Durant, sources told Michael Grange of Sportsnet.

It is more likely that the Raptors sign Poeltl to a contract extension.

Poeltl would be eligible for a three-year, $88.2 million contract extension if he opts into the final year of his $19.5 million deal this summer.

Should he opt out, he would be eligible for a four-year, $121.8 million extension.

The 29-year-old averaged 14.5 points and 9.6 rebounds last season for the Raptors.

Jakob is solid big, but 30 Mil for a big, isn't what I would sign up for.

Agreed. $22M max per year. He's just going to get slower as he ages. And the Raptors aren't contenders for a couple years anyway.

This is just games. PHX really needs a center, therefor TOR is saying that their center is the one player PHX can't have. How bad does PHX want Poeltl included in the deal?

Realistically, I don't know why TOR would do this unless it's for Ingram and filler, and even still it seems like a bad idea. It would need to be Poeltl and RJ for KD, and that deal looks like PHX would need to send out a couple of picks.
