The Houston Rockets are actively trying to trade back into the 2025 draft after sending the No. 10 and No. 59 picks this week to the Phoenix Suns for Kevin Durant. The Rockets currently don't have any selections in this week's draft.
Houston has surplus future picks via the Suns as well as several young players on their roster. The Rockets have had one of the NBA's better track records of drafting during the tenure of Rafael Stone.
According to the Houston Chronicle, the Rockets have identified approximately five prospects who project to be first rounders they believe have significant upside.
