Ajay Mitchell, Thunder Agree To Three-Year, $9M Deal

Ajay Mitchell and the Oklahoma City Thunder have agreed to a three-year, $9 million contract after declining their team option for the 2025-26 season. Mitchell was the 38th overall pick by the Thunder in the 2024 draft and converted from a Two-Way to a standard NBA deal in February.

In 36 regular season games, Mitchell averaged 6.5 points, 1.9 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 16.6 minutes.

Yep, had to lock in that three year deal to try to hold onto a position on the team. SO many draft picks incomming to try to bump him out. But realistically, he probably gets packaged with another player and picks to upgrade the top 8 in some way in February.
