Bobby Portis Jr., Bucks Agree To Three-Year, $44M Deal

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Sun Jun 29, 2025 9:09 pm

Bobby Portis Jr. and the Milwaukee Bucks have agreed to a three-year, $44 million contract. Portis held a $13.4 million player option for next season that he will decline for his new contract. Portis is represented by Mark Bartelstein and Kieran Piller.

Portis averaged 13.9 points, 8.4 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 25.4 minutes across 49 games last season. Over the past four seasons, Portis has had PERs of 17.5, 17.7, 17.4 and 17.4. Portis also received a 25-game suspension for taking a banned substance last season, which reduced his games played.

The Golden State Warriors were among the teams with potential interest in Portis if he reached free agency.

Lol. Two weeks ago he was ‘looking for a salary bump not wanting to give the Bucks a hometown discount’.

Now he settles for less.

Guess there isn’t enough cap space out there.
