D'Angelo Russell and the Dallas Mavericks have agreed to a two-year, $13 million deal. Russell finished last season with the Brooklyn Nets following his trade by the Los Angeles Lakers.
Russell will help the Mavericks sustain at point guard while Kyrie Irving continues his ACL rehabilitation. Russell could also play off the ball in the backcourt when Irving returns.
Russel averaged 12.6 points, 2.8 rebounds and 5.1 assists last season.
