Jordan Clarkson and the New York Knicks have agreed to a one-year deal at the veteran's minimum worth $3.6 million. Clarkson and the Utah Jazz agreed to a buyout agreement of the final season of his contract on Monday.

Clarkson, who is represented by Rich Paul and Brandon Cavanaugh, had one season remaining on his three-year, $55 million renegotiate-and-extend contract signed in 2023.

Clarkson averaged 16.2 points, 3.2 rebounds and 3.7 assists in 26.0 minutes over 37 games last season for the Jazz.

It’s a nice deal because as I understand the Knicks still have the taxpayer MLE

Great pick up, needed another shot creator/ offensive threat.

Knicks depth and bench was a bit of a weakness, and now adding Clarkson alone might make it a strength, health permitting. Mitch and Deuce give you three guys if healthy that are nice bench players and fit in with rest of roster nicely.

You can’t blame him for wanting out of Utah, but the Knicks are still in limbo without a coach.

that's a very nice deal for NY. I'd say they are now going after a backup C to give them more depth.

it's a shame they dismissed TT
