Pistons, Kings Could Agree To Sign-And-Trade Deal Involving Dennis Schroder, Malik Monk

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Tue Jul 1, 2025 5:31 am

The Detroit Pistons and Sacramento Kings could work out a sign-and-trade deal involving Dennis Schroder and Malik Monk, sources told Jake Fischer of The People's Insider.

Schroder has been rumored to be working on a deal with the Kings worth two years and $28 million.

With Malik Beasley currently being investigated for gambling on NBA games, the Pistons are looking to bring in more shooting.

Duncan Robinson has also been linked with a Pistons move.

Even with acquiring Schroder, the Kings could still look to bring in another veteran ballhandler

I thought Monk is way better than Dennis.

in a vaccum, maybe. He's signed for more years and more money though. And frankly, he's not enough of a pg to play with the wings they have. If they are unwilling to commit to a rebuild, then they need complimentary pieces that actually complement them.
