Suns Guarantee Nick Richards' $5M Contract

The Phoenix Suns have fully guaranteed center Nick Richards' $5 million contract for the 2025-26 season. Richards had a guarantee date of June 29.
The Suns acquired Richards in a mid-January deal last season. In 36 games (34 starts) with Phoenix, Richards averaged 9.5 points on 60.5% shooting. Richards also grabbed 8.6 rebounds a night for the Suns.
The center situation in Phoenix is still in transition. The Suns acquired Mark Williams, as well as drafted Khaman Maluach with the 10th overall pick. That could make Richards available as an affordable trade piece for teams looking for center depth.
