The Milwaukee Bucks have used the waive-and-stretch provision on Damian Lillard as the $113 million remaining on his contract will be spread out over the next five seasons. The Bucks decided to use this maneuver in order to sign Myles Turner to a four-year, $107 million deal following Lillard's Achilles injury in the playoffs.

Insane move, definitely costly and had to be done.. I like Myles Turner as a quality player (although I quit watching the playoffs once my team was knocked out) but will be really be enough to keep the Bucks in contention?
Can't say the Bucks aren't trying though, I can't wait to see if the Rockets sign Lilliard to a vet deal in a year or so when he's finally healthy. He can ring chase in Houston, Dallas or even San Antonio lol.

The league denied their request for cap relief since Dame probably won't even play this year/most of it... Kinda backed them in a corner.
