Frank Vogel Hired By Mavericks As Associate Head Coach

The Dallas Mavericks have hired Frank Vogel as associate head coach under Jason Kidd. Vogel will replace Sean Sweeney, who left the Mavericks to become associate head coach of the San Antonio Spurs under Mitch Johnson.
Jason Kidd was an assistant coach for the Los Angeles Lakers under Vogel when they won the 2019-20 NBA championship.
Vogel was fired by the Lakers after the 2021-22 season and he was head coach of the Phoenix Suns for the 2023-24 season.
