Orlando has a deep guard rotation and a full roster, meaning the pathway to a standard contract likely wasn't there for McClung.
McClung was the G League MVP for the 2023-24 season. He's also a three-time winner of the Slam Dunk Contest at the NBA's All-Star Weekend.
