Phoenix Suns guard Bradly Beal has begun the process of finding his next team. Beal is anticipating a buyout coming from the Suns. Upon clearing waivers, Beal will be an unrestricted free agent.

Because he's assuming he'll be waived soon, Beal has begun exploring opportunities with other teams. It's unknown what the veteran guard's priorities will be when choosing where to play next.

In 53 games (38 starts) for Phoenix last season, Beal averaged 17 points, 3.3 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.1 steals per game. Beal shot 49.7% from the floor, including 38.6% on five three-point attempts per game.

Would like to see him on the Nuggets, but I feel like he’ll go to the highest bidder

He’ll have one of the biggest buyouts in NBA history I’m sure he’s going to want to play somewhere he can start and compete. Money won’t be a factor.

Why not hold onto him and see if he can produce to a point where you can move him for a minimal return rather than eating that contract and watching him walk.

The money is rough, but being over the second apron is a lot worse.

Because his NTC allows him to dictate trade destinations and gives the team little leverage.

If it was that easy, he would’ve been traded a year ago

If they do this (and it seems likely they will) PHX be paying Booker + Beal $72m, $76m, $80m, $91m & $97m over the next 5 seasons.... and Beal won't be there for a minute of it. There is no way a team competes with that much $$$ going to one roster spot. It makes way more sense to trade Booker and ride the Beal thing out. I like Booker, but not at anywhere near that cost. This will set them back for half a decade!
