Herb Jones and the New Orleans Pelicans have agreed to a three-year, $68 million contract extension. Jones is now under contract for the next five seasons at $97 million. Jones also holds a player option for the 2029-30 season.

Jones was an All-Defensive first team selection during the 2023-24 season. Jones also shot 42 percent from three during that season.

Jones was limited to 20 games last season due to shoulder and labrum injuries.

Jones was a second round pick in 2021 out of Alabama.

Lost season for him last year, I would expect him to bounce back this season in a positive way.

Crazy, even this guy is getting ~23mil / year, no wonder people like Kuminga and Giddey are asking for the world even when there's no market for them.

Are you kidding Herb is better than Kuminga and Giddey.. Herb healthy is an elite defender and 3 pt shooter.. This is a great contract if Herb is healthy which he should be.
