The Houston Rockets have decided to shut down Reed Sheppard for the remainder of Summer League.

Sheppard averaged 23.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 4.0 steals and 1.5 blocks in 30.6 minutes across two Summer League games. Sheppard shot 36.4 percent from the floor and 31.8 percent on three-pointers.

During his rookie season, Sheppard averaged 4.4 points, 1.5 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 12.6 minutes across 52 games.

That’s pretty much why they let cam whitmore go

Is this an attempt to make people think he was too good for summer league, because he wasn’t.
