Hornets Waive Josh Okogie Ahead Of $7.75M Guarantee Date

The Charlotte Hornets have waived Josh Okogie. Okogie and the Hornets previously agreed to push back his $7.75 million guarantee date to July 15th, which could have been used to facilitate a trade.
Okogie appeared in 40 games last season with the Phoenix Suns and Hornets, averaging 7.1 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.2 steals in 15.6 minutes.
Okogie is represented by Calvin Andrews.
