The San Antonio Spurs signed wing Stanley Umude to a training camp deal. Umude will be on a non-guaranteed contract with the Spurs for the preseason.
Umude played for the Milwaukee Bucks on a two-way contract last season. The 6-foot-6 wing saw limited minutes over 22 NBA games. In 13 games with the Wisconsin Herd of the G League, Umude averaged 17.5 points and 4.4 rebounds per game.
Umude spent the first two seasons of his NBA career with the Detroit Pistons. The Spurs preseason roster stands at 20 players, with one open offseason roster spot remaining.
