Landry Shamet and Malcolm Brogdon are among possible targets the New York Knicks are considering to fill their final roster spot, according to Ian Begley.
Ben Simmons reportedly declined the Knicks' one-year offer to fill the role.
Shamet averaged 5.7 points and 1.2 rebounds with the Knicks last season.
Brogdon averaged 12.7 points and 4.1 assists with the Wizards.

Shamet, IMO, was a breath of fresh air in the playoffs. He's shown what he can do, at least in a small sample size (with NYK), and he has experience playing in NY and with this group of players.
With all that said, however, I've always been a fan of Brogdon. I feel like he can bring a lot to the table. The big question, as it always is with him, is his health. Can he stay healthy enough to be a key factor off the bench?
