Memphis Grizzlies forward Jaren Jackson Jr. recently gave an encouraging update in his recovery from a turf toe injury. Jackson had a procedure to address the injury in early July.
"I’m feeling good," Jackson said. "I’m progressing the right way. I’m doing what I need to do. Every day has been a building block."
The Grizzlies timeline had Jackson being reevaluated around the start of training camp. Jackson wasn't putting a timeline on when he'd be ready, only that he's moving forward in rehab.
"I’m aiming for whatever my body is telling me, but I’m progressing the right way," the Memphis big man said. "I think everybody is going to be happy."
