Unless a team wants to go the Kawhi/Raptors route I figured this was always going to be the end result since he can become an unrestricted free agent next summer if he is traded to a team he doesn't want to go to. No sane team is going to give up a ton of assets for a one season rental.

If it's only MIA or BOS, I hope he goes to MIA too... but they do not have a better offer. MIL can flip Brown for at least three 1sts.

It sounds like there won't be a 3rd team in a Giannis deal, so we may never know Brown's value. But we do know that he's got the largest contract in the league, he's 29, he's one of the more inefficient among high usage players, and his team played better with him off the court.

Brown is an All Star, an intelligent dude and an Ironman, but him and a pupu platter are not with more than

Jaylen Brown is locked in. He can not force his way to the team of his choice and teams don't have to hope he'll re-sign... and still MIL just cleaned MIA's clock for three 1sts, last season's 1st, a 2nd, a swap and Herro, Ware and Jaquez Jr.
