The Atlanta Braves have placed Charlie Morton on the injured list due to right finger inflammation.
The move means Morton will miss Atlanta\'s National League Divisional Series.
Morton can be reinstated Oct. 8, one day after the Braves will have to submit their roster for the NLDS.
The 39-year-old left his most recent start on Friday after just an inning of work.
