The Boston Red Sox are one of Mike Clevinger\'s preferred landing spots in free agency, according to a report.
Clevinger had a 3.77 ERA and 110 strikeouts in 131 1/3 innings for the Chicago White Sox last season.
After signing Lucas Giolito last month, a report indicated that the Red Sox would need to shed some salary before making a serious offer to outstanding free agents.
