Mariners Have Emerged As Suitor For Dylan Cease

The Seattle Mariners have discussed a trade for Dylan Cease with the Chicago White Sox, according to a report.

The White Sox are believed to be seeking a package centered around Bryce Miller or Bryan Woo.

Cease seemed likely to be traded earlier this offseason, but his chances of being dealt before Opening Day have dwindled due to the White Sox lofty asking price.

Does Seattle really need more pitching? I thought their issue was on the offensive end.

Opportunity to leverage their young SP's for a SP who can be your ace and Cy Young contender. Good move IMO.

Yes, they need more bats. I don't know why they let Teoscar Hernandez get away.
