The Oakland Athletics are expected to meet with local officials, including those from the City of Oakland and County of Alameda, on Thursday to discuss a lease extension to remain at the Oakland Coliseum, according to a report.
The A\'s lease at the Coliseum is scheduled to expire at the end of the 2024 season.
The club is in the midst of a relocation attempt to Las Vegas.
Even if the A\'s are successful in their bid to relocate to Las Vegas, their new stadium is not expected to be ready until the start of the 2028 season.
