Freddie Freeman has been diagnosed with a hairline fracture in his finger.
The Los Angeles Dodgers first baseman will attempt to play through the injury and was in the lineup on Monday night against the Seattle Mariners. He went 0-for-4 with a strikeout.
Freeman left Sunday\'s game with what at the time was termed a jammed finger.
The 34-year-old is hitting .289/.387/.484 with 17 home runs and 6 steals in his third season with the Dodgers.
