Aaron Judge On Record HR Pace

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Sun Aug 25, 2024 11:02 pm

Yankees slugger Aaron Judge hit his 50th and 51st home runs of the season Sunday in a 10-3 win over the Colorado Rockies, putting him on pace to break his own American League home run record.

Home run No. 50 came off a 0-2 changeup from Austin Gomber in the first inning; it was Judge\'s 18th homer in the first inning this season, matching Alex Rodriguez (2001) for the major league record.

Judge hit No. 51 in the seventh inning, following a solo homer from Juan Soto with one of his own. Giancarlo Stanton homered in the next at-bat as the sluggers went back-to-back-to-back to give New York a 7-3 lead.

Soros smashing his career best, wondering how much Yankee stadium plays into judges insane hr numbers. I know there's other hitter parks but always hear about right field in new York.

Not much seeing as he only has 1 more HR at home compared to away.
