The Chicago Cubs have reached an agreement on a two-year deal with Matthew Boyd, according to a report.
The left-hander\'s contract is worth $29 million, with $14.5 million a year, plus $1 million in performance bonuses ($500,000 each year).
Boyd signed with the Cleveland Guardians in June after recovering from Tommy John surgery.
He went 2-2 with a 2.72 ERA over 39 2/3 innings in eight starts for Cleveland.
