The Philadelphia Phillies have placed Roy Halladay on the disabled list with discomfort in his right shoulder.
"It's not something that I had before," Halladay said after Sunday's outing against the Miami Marlins. "It's something new this year. I felt good all spring. I had soreness in there and just wasn't able to get rid of it."
He has struggled through seven starts this season, going 2-4 with an 8.65 ERA.
