The Toronto Blue Jays are 15-24 despite huge expectations to begin the season.
They are in last place in the American League East, 9.5 games behind the division-leading New York Yankees.
Toronto president and CEO Paul Beeston doesn't believe the team's fanbase should give up on the club so soon.
"There is real talent and there is no reason for panic. There is reason for concern, but I don't think there is a reason for panic," Beeston said.
"Quite honestly, I expect, and I think [the players] expect, more importantly, that we will perform this year."
