Matt Garza threw 75 pitches in six innings for Triple-A Iowa on Thursday, but the Chicago Cubs aren't ready to put a date on his return.
Garza suffered a lat muscle strain in training camp and has not pitched for the Cubs this season.
"He did what we asked him to do," Dale Sveum said.
