The Minnesota Twins have released Rafael Perez.
The left-hander signed a minor league contract with the club in February, but had yet to pitch for the Twins.
Perez logged just four innings for Triple-A Rochester, pitching to a 2.25 ERA with 4.5 K/9 and 6.8 BB/9.
