Jacoby Ellsbury set a Red Sox franchise record on Thursday night against the Phillies as he stole five bases.
The Phillies presented Ellsbury with a base to acknowledge his accomplishment after the game.
"It's pretty neat," Ellsbury said. "As long as the Red Sox have been around . It's pretty special."
Ellsbury had been tied with Jerry Remy atop the franchise list with four stolen bases.
