Instead of padding their win total against the Astros this season, the Angels have struggled against the newest team in the American League West.
Houston swept Los Angeles earlier this week.
The Astros are on pace to lose 103 games, while the Angels are on pace for 92 losses.
Mike Scioscia expressed frustration that a team that had recently won eight consecutive games could play so poorly in a four-game sweep.
"It seems like these four games, a switch flipped off," he said.
