Hamilton Slowly Breaking Out Of Slump

Josh Hamilton, who has been a huge disappointment in his first season with the Angels, is showing some signs of breaking out of his offensive slump.


Through 78 games (296 at-bats), Hamilton is hitting .223/.283/.392 with 10 home runs and 29 RBI. He has struck out 81 times and drawn 23 walks.


Hamilton is in the midst of a mini streak over his last six games.


He is hitting .381 (8-for-21) with four RBI over the span. He has registered five strikeouts and walked four times. Over the the six games, Hamilton's batting average has jumped from .207 to .223.


Hamilton's on-base percentage has increased from .262 to .283.
