Halladay: Phillies Aren't Far Away From Contention

Roy Halladay had a successful return to the mound for the Philadelphia Phillies on Sunday.

"It's a team that's not far away," Halladay said of the Phillies. "I know our record doesn't show that and where we are in the standings doesn't show that. But we have some young players who are really kind of coming into their own and some veteran guys who are starting to produce again. I think there's just a few pieces that if we can add we're right there."

The right-hander sounds extremely optimistic, especially since Philadelphia is 12 games under .500 and 19 games back in the National League East.

Ummm... no just no Roy. The team needs to rebuild meaning these veterans need to be traded starting w/ you, Michael Young, Papelbon -- and hate to this -- but maybe even Rollins too. Y'all need prospects.
