Miguel Cabrera took batting practice on Monday morning, but was not in the lineup when the Detroit Tigers took on the Boston Red Sox.
Cabrera did not look limited during batting practice and could return to the lineup on Wednesday if he is able to move around without trouble.
The third baseman, who has missed three straight games, is hitting .358/.449/.681 with 43 home runs and 130 RBI this season.
