The Los Angeles Dodgers are nearing a five-year, $32 million deal with Alexander Guerrero, according to a report.
An official announcement could come as soon as this week. Guerrero was declared eligible to sign with a Major League team a few days ago.
The infielder projects as a second baseman. The Minnesota Twins, Boston Red Sox, and Atlanta Braves have also been in the mix for Guerrero.
