Stephen Strasburg was scratched from his scheduled start on Friday night because of tightness in the top side of his forearm.
Ross Ohlendorf will take the mound for the Washington Nationals in his place.
Strasburg originally felt the soreness on Thursday while experimenting with a new pitch. He will rest for a few days and is expected to make his next start on Sept. 19.
