The Cincinnati Reds have decided to remain within the organization, promoting pitching coach Bryan Price to manager.
Price replaces Dusty Baker, who was fired three days after the Reds lost to the Pittsburgh Pirates in the National League Wild Card Game.
Reds Triple-A manager Jim Riggleman was the only other confirmed candidate for the job.
