David Samson is confident that the Miami Marlins will begin to turn things around next season.
"We want to get out there and get going," Samson said. "We're getting ready for another season, and we're going to win more. I promise you this: We're not going to lose 100 games next year. Not close."
Samson cited the Boston Red Sox quick turnaround from 93 losses last season to a World Series appearance this year.
Miami retooled their front office recently.
They dismissed Larry Beinfest as president last month, promoting Michael Hill to the position. Dan Jennings was named general manager.
