Brad Ausmus has interviewed with the Detroit Tigers for their manager's job.
Dave Dombrowski confirmed that Ausmus interviewed on Monday. The Tigers are looking for a replacement for Jim Leyland, who retired after the ALCS.
Ausmus currently works in San Diego's front office as a special assistant to the general manager.
