Mariners Interested In Trading For Matt Kemp

The Seattle Mariners are interested in acquiring Matt Kemp, according to sources.

Kemp is being made available by the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Loosing Kemp would be a sad day for Dodger fans. He has had some injury issues since he about ran through a wall for the team, but we saw a glimpse of his old self before he had to shut it down for the last month of the season. It is hard to wrap my head around why the Dodgers would let him go. How many 40-40 guys with gold glove defense are around?

Crowded OF bro. Dodgers have Crawford, Ethier, Kemp, and Puig but there's obviously only 3 spots in the OF. Kemp would surely be missed, but if it is for the right price the Dodgers should pull the trigger since his value is still pretty high despite all his injuries. Some combination of Ackley, Tijuan Walker, Seager, and maybe some other prospect would be nice but then again maybe that wouldn't be enough just for Kemp.
