Hiroki Kuroda is closing in on a one-year deal to re-sign with the New York Yankees.
Kuroda would make approximately $16 million in 2014.
Kuroda had a 6.56 ERA in his final eight starts after a strong beginning to the season. Kuroda finished with a 3.31 ERA.
Kuroda has also considered retirement this offseason.
