According to sources, the Los Angeles Dodgers have agreed to a seven-year, $215 million contract with Clayton Kershaw.
The deal will allow Kershaw to void the final two seasons after five years.
It is the richest contract in baseball history for a pitcher.
Kershaw went 16-9 with a 1.83 ERA and 232 strikeouts last season.
