Roy Halladay has struggled with his velocity this spring and during an appearance on Saturday he was ineffective yet again.
He faced 18 batters and retired just seven of them. Halladay allowed three doubles, four singles, two walks and a hit batter against Toronto's Triple-A lineup.
He touched 90 miles per hour on the radar gun once, on his seventh pitch of the day. But mostly, when he delivered his fastball, the guns lit with numbers ranging from 86 to 89.
